Prince Khaled announces details of projects in 3 Makkah governorates worth over $275m

He visited the governorates, accompanied by the directors of government services in the area.

Prince Khaled chaired public meetings attended by residents of the three governorates and reviewed completed, ongoing and upcoming projects. It also discussed ways to expedite work on delayed projects.

Prince Khaled inaugurated several development projects in Rabigh, including the digital transformation project, the development and rehabilitation of the cultural center, the social security building and the pilgrims’ lounge at Meeqat Al-Juhfah.

In Al-Kamil, he inaugurated the project of the Ministry of Housing, as well as several municipal projects and he reviewed a number of projects in Khulais.

During his visit, he met local people and listened to their demands and proposals for development. He also received a number of children of martyrs in the three governorates.

Prince Khaled witnessed the signing of several agreements in Rabigh, including a cooperation agreement between the governorate municipality and King Abdulaziz University. The agreement aims to raise public awareness of social responsibility, encourage people to participate in social initiatives, implement development programs and encourage volunteerism.

Another cooperation agreement was signed between social security and the municipality to train those insured and enable them to enter the labor market.

He also witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the governorate to strengthen cooperation. In addition, a community partnership agreement has been signed between Rabigh Governorate and KAU in Rabigh, to organize programs in the educational, social, cultural and social fields.
