ANANTNAG: The Employees Provident Fund Organization, together with Anantnag District Administration, organized an awareness raising program at Dak Bungalow Anantnag today.
The program was organized to share the benefits of EPFO ​​enrollment with district officers so that they can ensure that workers working in their departments enroll in the Employees Provident Fund themselves. and benefit from the various benefits offered to them under the scheme.
On the occasion, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner Rizwan ud Din made a comprehensive presentation on the implementation of the Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions of Employees and Schemes Act 1952 (Funds Provident Scheme, Employees Pension Scheme and Employees Deposit Tied Insurance Scheme), e-nomination & KYC as well as Insurance Benefits (up to Rs 7 Lakhs) under the Tied Insurance Scheme to Employees and Pension Deposits under the Employees Pension Scheme, 1995 for the welfare of contract, outsourced and other part-time employees.
It has been stated that the maximum insured benefit of Rs 7 lacs will be granted to the candidate of the deceased upon his death in the harness, while a minimum insured benefit of Rs 2.5 lacs will be granted to the candidate under the EDLI scheme. if the deceased has rendered more than one year of continuous service.
The Regional Provident Fund Commissioner has advised hoteliers to ensure that their remaining workers are enrolled at the earliest so that the benefits of the organization’s various schemes also reach these workers.
The commissioner said the employee provident fund scheme extends a range of benefits to employed members of the EPF and instills in them a sense of financial stability and security. He said workers can make early withdrawals to meet personal demands.
