Zain presents role of its media platforms in supporting nation during pandemic
KUWAIT: Zain, the leading digital service provider in Kuwait, has announced its strategic sponsorship of the 17th Arab Media Forum. The virtual event, which came in conjunction with the Ministry of Information, was held May 29-31 via teleconferencing technology. The forum was placed under the patronage and presence of the Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmad Aboul Gheit and the participation of the Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Waleed Al-Khashti, Head of Communications and Corporate Relations at Zain Kuwait, said, “We were keen to continue supporting the Arab Media Forum despite the current circumstances, as we strongly believe in the crucial role and the powerful effects of the media in raising public awareness, especially during crises. “
